Celebrating the USA’s 244th Anniversary. the State of Our Union Independence Day Special features the insight and wisdom of former Southern California Deputy District Attorney James Valliant, Author of “Creating Christ: How Roman Emperors Invented Christianity” and “The Passion of Ayn Rand’s Critics: The Case Against the Brandens”.
The episode commences with Glenn explaining why he finds nonfiction much more interesting than fictional works. Then Jim and Glenn launch into an in-depth conversation about the current state of America including: the validity of mandatory mask wearing, the arbitrary nature of the shutdown, the tenor of the critics of Glenn’s early take on the lockdown which led to his new book “Early Wake-Up Call - How a Coach’s Early Warnings About the Pandemic Can Help You NOW”, the scientific implications of the way the whole thing was handled, a quote from former Presidential Candidate and Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, conspiracy theories, the corruption of the Chinese government and the World Health Organization, the intoxication of power, politicians’ , medical bureaucrats', and the media’s mistakes and hypocrisy and the corresponding public’s hysteria, Jim’s proclamation which started with “Should I die fro COVID-19, George Floyd’s murder and the resulting protests and violence, Black Lives Matter, legalizing all drugs, the destruction of the nation’s statues, plus (believe it or not) so much more. Listen to end for clips from the HBO Docu-Film “John Adams” and music from Angel Gabriel, Ray Charles and Neil Diamond. It ain’t going to be boring and finishes on a moving and optimistic note.
